FedEx Freight | I think they are going to have to put the Scorecard system on hiatus for retooling.

We were told in our meeting it was a team comprised of our members of America's Road Team and other top FXF drivers. I guess we're supposed to feel better about it because of this?

yeah truckdriver79,obama and democraps said obamacare was going to better for us too.we are starting to see how true that is !

We had our number 2 road driver get a seat belt ticket last weekend. Then Tuesday at the road drivers meeting he found out he had 19 points on his score card. He called the safety guy and was told unless he can get the ticket completely removed he is disqualified. So it looks like he became disqualified last night. His court date isn't until the middle of july. My question is......if he gets the ticket thrown out does he get reinstated? Can he work the dock while being disqualified and after getting the ticket thrown out come back to his original seniority spot?

Interesting point, if this does not begin until June 15 as was told to us, does the citation date count or does the conviction date count?

Sr Mgr said that after XX points, you are disqualified for 3yrs,and have to go through the entire driver training process again.
Basically, they force you to quit.

Lmao it would be funny to have a 2 yr dock to driver, who happened to become a safety trainer trying to teach a 20 yr vet how to drive again.

CEO's can bankrupt companies, and find another job tomorrow. A driver gets a few points and he becomes ineligible to drive. That is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard. And I've heard some force recon delta force sniper seal team 6 BS stories!

Not to totally disagree, but I believe the automatic tranny is supposedly to save fuel mileage, and wear and tear. At least that's how the manufacturer attempts to sell it. Now reality would seem to suggest otherwise.

time will tell, all i know is that fred flinstones car is faster than the automatics

I have 2 points from a no seatbelt in my pov 4 1/2 years ago! We had a driver roll his back trailer over when via our yard last week. 10 points for dot reportable, 4 for rolling trailer over, 4 for failure to maintain control ticket! I have 17 years safe driving but if I have 1 accident like this guy that puts me at 20 points! Driver score card sucks!!!

Not trying to argue, but where did you find 10 PTA for a seatbelt violation in you POV?
Isn't 10 pts for a serious violation like DUI/DWI/OWI, reckless, wet reckless and excessive speed?
Also, 10 pts is for a pintle hook disconnect as in losing your congear and back trailer. Dropping a trailer is 3 pts, at least that is what my scorecard indicated, along with a date and some three digit code.
Our manager told us you can get multiple points for on incident.Say your rear box drops off that's 10 pts annd it keeps moving and strikes another object you get more points.Did anyone else hear this.

We were told you can work the dock only if there is a opening. Can not create a new position. When you go back to driving you start at the bottom.

Yes. You rear end a car, that's points. You also received a citation, e.g. following too closely, that's additional points.

I read on the Old Dominion forum where they're recruiting straight out of local truck driving schools. I guess that's what we'll be resorting to with the new scorecards.
