I would not be surprised if he opens as a wharehouse only facility? Stechs Transport in Camden/Pennsauken NJ has done that for over 60 years and has carved out a nice little niche with only a handful of drivers delivering tristate PA NJ DE and there Teamsters 676 and have survived!!! U don't have to be the biggest or best but know how to manage survive and thrive.

Yeah...just like when he started NCT...was only going to be truckload....Harry just can't resist LTL....You know what Einstein said....definition of insanity is doing same thing over and over and expecting a different result.:TR10driving03:

Harry seems to do pretty good ,build it sell it , run with the money when the house of cards fall.

I heard he has money in a comany called Gully they seem to have taken over air products and the nct guys are in Ryder trucks up there still working under the new name till next week.

gully has been around the midwest for decades. we went in to a lot of their terminals, KC, StL, bunch of others. probably tight with owners and cooked up some deal to keep an account or two. specially one like AP. remember, he could take the gully trlrs off of nct property. not owned by nct. all other equipment has to be accounted for by the court. rent the ryders and get rolling. maybe he will stick to his business plan this time.........naw...to much F'n ego for his own good. sales and build, mismanage and BR....the beat goes on. this deal took awhile to set up....yeah, he came up to try and save nct. i hope all the rest of the jevic/ nct gang finally realizes who H is all about. a driver built company built for that driver. just full of sh-t. am so glad i can retire...no more lieing arse trucking companies to be owned by. my time is mine now...not some dispatcher's...

Bilkay's Express did the same thing after Deregulation, Warehousing & Distribution, two facility's in Elizabeth, NJ.

The difference is there would be no Union with Harry and you would be right back in the same boat. He would promise you the world give you perks on your vacation then make you work for straight time Can't see any change there!

Oh im done i wont go for his Games again. Ill take a pay cut and know at the end i wont loose a job again under his name!

Im not saying anything good or bad about the union sutff since i was not in on all of it. But when i was talking to Yellow Drivers they all say its not what it use to be and the union wont be there to help. I guess they are upset over the pension stuff and all idk i never
got to deep in to it. But i can saying Being a road driver i was all for the union. Hell how many of us came off the road to do local pick ups in jersey waste our hours picking up the **** that thy dont want to pay by the hour to do. Hell I cant count how many times i spent over 10 hours working local and only made 3 pick ups and drover what 100 miles. F.. That! And the other thing that use to **** me off is we did nto get paid for the first and last stop. Ok i can deal with the first but the last **** i know a lot of times it would take from the time i hit the yard till i got to the window over a hour and half. That is if i needed fuel and all. I feel we should have just dropped our paperwork and left i hated standing at the window and if there was a line forget about it lol I was not happy.

I believe they are Teamsters either 560 out of Jersey City or 641 out of Union NJ? Anyone who does not pay overtime just is putting more money in their pockets and not yours!:burnsauce:

I cant vouch for local p and d,but returning to the northeast from the road was certainly a pain in the butt.Long lines to turn in paper work, could not fax in payroll from the road, bitchy attitudes from management,etc...It certainly wasn't what I signed up for.I actually signed up for truckload(knew it was a pay cut,but less hassle)working out of Delanco. It was laid back, then got forced into LTL.....Their business model was not road driver friendly and neither was most of management,imo..
