FedEx Freight | What is your main reason to vote in a union at FedEx Freight ?

My first reason would be the joy of shoving a stick in the eye of Memphis and Harrison. Second, work rules, representation, able to have a witness when called into a red shirts office because I left a box blank on a form.

But mostly the stick thing. (I'm kidding, but can you imagine the gnashing of teeth and the wailing from the corporate offices? Pure joy.)

There is a small trucking company in Western Washington called Diamond Lines. A OM quit Freight to become a OM at this small company and is VERY busy trying to recruit more people from Freight. Another dock super quit and went there, as did 4-5 dockworkers. I hear that a dispatcher in Tacoma is also going there as of next week. I don't seem them on the boards here. Anyone know anything about them?

Send them here to talk to us at TB.
They would need to keep the forum active for us to consider this.

Seen to many people go out injured, have operation , cancer , etc. only to get a letter 6months later saying that there job wasn't guaranteed anymore. In most cases almost 6 months to the day. Then you never see them again.

1 Fair work rules, and seniority rights. Do away with this ridiculous point system for being truly sick, etc
2 Job protection
3.Better medical benefits, with no cost to us or a long term cap on costs..
3 Better pension being 100% in a defined plan, Not Master Fright, lots of others that are well funded.
4 Knowing what my raise will be each year long in advance.
5 Cost of living increases each year

Tracking straight as an arrow, passes safely and that guy has his panties in a bunch about 61 mph?

Oh, wait a second, RC wants to say something.

GFY

Must be a old timer, but at least he knows where we belong!

Um, did I miss something in that guy's video?
Sure seemed like a hit piece to me, despite the print at the top.
And yes we need the IBT.

I agree, a hit piece for sure. Probably one of our own trying to move up the ladder. That's the type of coworkers we have anymore.

I would of used a turn signal when changing lanes. Never been in Oregon and never pulled triples.
