Nothing like waiting on the last trailer of the night to come into XCW. Always shows up about 45 minutes later than the other stragglers and never fails that it's always an XCL guy. I swear, their outbound must not shut down until 2:00 AM. Every trailer I see from there looks like diarrhea. We get pures that come through and every one I get to pull home is either overweight on the drives or leaning really bad.

Why does XCL suck so much arse?? Is it just a natural gift?

The funniest part of it is XCL is the Regional Managers home terminal. What does that say about him?

Everywhere XCL runs it is about the same way.

He's probably getting ready for a promotion to the palace. @ my facility is screw up to move up. lmao unfortunately this company is while financially stable. the morale is extremely low or non-existent. when i started i had such a great pride about this company. and felt like i had a voice to help correct some issues. now your treated like a problem child if you have an opinion. that's why i look at it like beerfd. they pay me from the neck down. & as far as i'm concerned EASY MONEY. i don't believe anything they say. so after 20yrs it is after all just a job. NO EXPECTATIONS= NO DISAPPOINTMENT.

No matter how many stripes we paint on the floor, getting the freight moved through the longstanding choke points remains a mystery.

We are not interested in efficient movement of freight. Our main concern is making sure the wheel chocks are within the painted area, and that no one goes the wrong way in the yard......that's our focus now.......

I believe you said you are out of that barn. Sounds like the best part of your job is being out of that barn.

The XCL reship was a great place to run back in the day. Easy to get into, huge yard, good supervision, good shop personnel, and a great group of drivers running in there.

Maybe LeBron will fix it.. God I miss that FAC.

You folks are starting to catch on!:notworthy::shift::6788:

No because then you get home so late that you can't make your cut the next night and get sent on the crap run.

Question.......do you start your 10 hours off when you run out of hours or when you get back to the terminal after you waited 45 min to get picked up.....and then its another 30 min drive to the damn terminal?!?!

You start your 10 when you get back to the terminal and leave work.

that's what I thought.....but for a while I was going off duty when I hit `14 hours at the truck stop ......oops. oh well. Another question......if you come up to a traffic accident and the road is shut down and you sit for 40 min until they re-open the road, do you get paid for that?

No, you don't get paid for the first hour for traffic or weather related stoppages. If your truck breaks down then you get paid for all time spent on the side of the road.
