Tell me 5 positive things the union can do for us as drivers at FedEx. No union trolls to answer fedex employees only.

If you look at other threads half the people that post on them post on everyone else's board too. So that's why I threw that out there no offense taken just trying to get the facts for both interested parties.

How about..
1. A better pay rate
2. Health care that goes up every year that takes the pay raise away.
3. A pension where I won't have til work til I'm 80 years old.
4. Being pushed so fast on a dock where I don't feel like I'm going to get clipped by a forklift everyday.
5. Not being talked down to like your a 9 year old going into the third grade.

OK then. Tell everyone your 5 positive, or negative, things first. That will get the ball rolling.

Ok nice post tell me this.
1. What's to say we will get better pay ?
2. Insurance is in the crapper for this whole country.
3. It's called a matching 401k .
4. Just slow down just saying.
5. You got me on that one I agree but the union cannot do anything about how someone talks to you.

Here, here!

THAT, is spot on! If you can't figure that out...you haven't worked here long enoough

Really citydog you must not have worked on a dock where they are constantly badgering you about bills per hour and when the review comes up for them to get full time it's not worth someone losing their life or a limb come work this dock for one day when their are over 100 forklifts flying around through 300 doors

City dog works at a terminal w 20 doors and is probably a relative of a manager come deal w what I do on a daily basis when they are putting 18 year old kids on forklifts flying around over 12 mph with over 150 people on the dock walking around

I don't even have to base my point on this guy that knows nothing. Others I work w see it on a daily basis and the only people we have to talk to is teamsters not you. You wanna vote no good luck working til your 80 if you decide to stay

12. No more giving up time.
13. No, it's not part of my mileage pay.
14. Contractual limits on outsourcing
PT and rail.
15. Lose the shuttles. Dock is dock, local is local, and line is line.

That would fall under the rules that they don't follow... Forklift are not to exceed a brisk walking pace.:LMAO:

We're up to 15 good possible benefits. In my eyes you only need one reason. Leverage. Do we have leverage now? Maybe a little, but it is a small ineffective one at that and not very useful. even I can see the possible benefits of having a Big Lever at this point.
