FedEx Freight | Thank you teamsters

What the Teamsters have already done for you!
1. $.80 cent raise and about 2 cents a mile
2. Driver scorecard thrown out
3. A step progression for safety infractions rather than critical write ups and unfair terminations
4. The company is currently reviewing the unfair point system for attendance
5. The company is reviewing allow more time off.

These are all things that the company has changed or is looking to change because of the Teamsters. You can bet the farm if the big black Teamsters truck was not outside of the CIN service center none of this would have changed.

A Yes vote will keep these kind of positive changes coming for us drivers and give us back our dignity and respect we deserve.

Vote NO and it all goes back to the way it was. Vote no and you will stay an "at will employee"

VOTE YES for .....
Job security
Your family
Your future
Your respect
Your rights
Your dignity
Along with many other things such as wages, benefits, written policy, and guarantee of seniority!

TOGETHER WE STAND!
DIVIDED WE BEG!

Amen, brother! I wish I could like this post more than once. We owe much gratitude to each and every member of the Teamsters, past and present, for the changes they have helped us implement. It is time for us to return the favor, and join their ranks, in the fight to give our collective our voices back. I implore each and every one of you to stand firm in your resolve, in the face of these union busting tactics being implemented by our leadership. Don't forget about the struggles we went through to get to this point, or the members of our company who started this for us, and are waiting on us to do the right thing.

from the article said:
In 2002 E.I. du Pont de Nemours announced plans to turn some of its operations into a separate subsidiary. Most of the affected employees were under a union agreement that gave them the right to transfer within DuPont if they preferred, a decision which would have cost the company an enormous amount of money to retrain the transfers and hire their replacements.
The employees were worried that if DuPont sold the new subsidiary it would hurt both their pay and retirement funds. To convince them to work in the subsidiary instead of transferring within the company, DuPont assured its employees that it had absolutely no plans to sell the spin-off. Based on this promise almost everyone moved to the subsidiary, which a few weeks later DuPont sold to Koch Industries. Koch cut both salaries and retirement packages. DuPont had, as it turns out, been negotiating this deal the entire time.

The Texas Supreme Court sees no problem with any of this.

Fraud and deceit.

I think your thanking the wrong people. If FXF wasn't profitable, then they would be asking for a 15% cut in wages. The decisions that FXF management made it possible for a wage increase. Right now UPS Freight is on the top of the pile. If they don't show a profit next year, you can look for them to join the other union freight carriers. Our company policies are not written is stone so they are flexible. If something doesn't look like it will work they can change it. If you worked for the best LTL carrier, making the most money, driving new equipment with the best run, you would still be whining. Its the nature of the beast.

Top of the pile? Join the other freight carriers? Please, you know nothing about UPS or UPSF. Stop with the crystal ball.

All FedEx is trying to do is stop the the Momentum of organizing.Make no mistake about it if FedEx is successful in extinguishing the teamster fire, it will be just a matter of time the work rules come back again. This might be a one time Opportunity and FedEX knows it. Remember the people that put these new work rules and policies in place are the type of people your dealing with. They dont give a rats A_ _ about you or your family.

I would like to thank my fellow employee's who were brave enough to sign a card for union representation. There is strength in numbers. Management can and does speak lies, the same thing drivers get fired for. With a teamsters contract we will have a stronger say.

Those steps forward are only because of the Teamsters!!!!!!!!!!!! The company has no one to blame but themselves for this movement!!!!!!!!!!!
