Didn't you work at Fed ex National?? And retired when we merged???UPS and UPS Freight are two different companies, just like Fedex Ground and Fedex Freight. One wouldn't be effected by the actions of the other.

What the Teamsters have already done for you!
1. $.80 cent raise and about 2 cents a mile
2. Driver scorecard thrown out
3. A step progression for safety infractions rather than critical write ups and unfair terminations
4. The company is currently reviewing the unfair point system for attendance
5. The company is reviewing allow more time off.
These are all things that the company has changed or is looking to change because of the Teamsters. You can bet the farm if the big black Teamsters truck was not outside of the CIN service center none of this would have changed.
A Yes vote will keep these kind of positive changes coming for us drivers and give us back our dignity and respect we deserve.

from the article said:In 2002 E.I. du Pont de Nemours announced plans to turn some of its operations into a separate subsidiary. Most of the affected employees were under a union agreement that gave them the right to transfer within DuPont if they preferred, a decision which would have cost the company an enormous amount of money to retrain the transfers and hire their replacements.
The employees were worried that if DuPont sold the new subsidiary it would hurt both their pay and retirement funds. To convince them to work in the subsidiary instead of transferring within the company, DuPont assured its employees that it had absolutely no plans to sell the spin-off. Based on this promise almost everyone moved to the subsidiary, which a few weeks later DuPont sold to Koch Industries. Koch cut both salaries and retirement packages. DuPont had, as it turns out, been negotiating this deal the entire time.
The Texas Supreme Court sees no problem with any of this.
I think your thanking the wrong people. If FXF wasn't profitable, then they would be asking for a 15% cut in wages. The decisions that FXF management made it possible for a wage increase. Right now UPS Freight is on the top of the pile. If they don't show a profit next year, you can look for them to join the other union freight carriers. Our company policies are not written is stone so they are flexible. If something doesn't look like it will work they can change it. If you worked for the best LTL carrier, making the most money, driving new equipment with the best run, you would still be whining. Its the nature of the beast.

All FedEx is trying to do is stop the the Momentum of organizing.Make no mistake about it if FedEx is successful in extinguishing the teamster fire, it will be just a matter of time the work rules come back again. This might be a one time Opportunity and FedEX knows it. Remember the people that put these new work rules and policies in place are the type of people your dealing with. They dont give a rats A_ _ about you or your family.
Keep pushing if it's not voted in all them rules will come back in a matter of time!
Break as many rules as possible as quickly as possible!
If your time is now then call matt Flynn at local 710 and get on board..I am full time with another 150 full timers at CGT. Our time is now!
I have to admit. ..a bunch of steps in the right direction. Like it all except I think we were better off with the three year re setting score card.
Those steps forward are only because of the Teamsters!!!!!!!!!!!! The company has no one to blame but themselves for this movement!!!!!!!!!!!I have to admit. ..a bunch of steps in the right direction. Like it all except I think we were better off with the three year re setting score card.
thank you teamsters didn't have to take my raise to pay your dues...thanks...
