I think doing away with the scorecard is a bad thing for us drivers once again if you get a ticket it will be subject to review by a group of people that could careless if you have a job or not. For example let's say you have a rear end collision then 2 speeding tickets in the same year that would be 16 points and you still have a job with the option of points coming off after so many years. Now if you have that situation I can almost guarantee you won't have a job after they review that! Better hope we get the Union in there because we are no doubt going to need job protection!

You're not going to get or need a review for every infraction. FMCSA already had rules in place for serious infractions, that FedEx uses and must follow. Unless your speeding tickets are serious (15+over) you'll likely be coached etc.

With all of this Union activity the company really should hold some management accountable. I mean this is a direct reflection their scorecard and this union business is definitely a preventable accident.

RC and I must have misread the FMCSA website were it mentioned the violations in your POV had no bearing on your CSA score.

I want it in writing. Ask your higher ups for it watch what they say.If for one minute you think it went away you are fooling yourself.

We have state and local police watching us as drivers. We also have the DOT, Government, TSA and CSA. We also have every driver on the road reporting on our driving habits on the road. We don't need anymore driver watch dogs from any company.

You will if already on probation. ...my understanding is zero chance of surviving a 3rd review. We had a city driver that was fired just before scorecard was implemented. He would still be working had the score card come a little earlier. It was due to 4-5 small mishaps doing [email protected]g major.

Curious... Folks that were on lifetime probation were reprieved by the scorecard, but now what happens to it now that we've reverted back to the old system. FYI ... Not me

RC, the only part you misread is that Fedex rules and laws they make up as they go along trump any FMCSA, federal laws or state laws!!!

I had a ticket a few years back that was taken care of in the eyes of FMCSA, and my own states laws, no points against my CDL.

However, it's still on my record with the all mighty:fingure: Fedex??? Go figure
