XPO | 65 mph

Only saves me five minutes on my run.... Big whoop.

If you are on interstates, then your run is only 1 hr and 40 min.
Most runs are a little longer. This increase in speed saves the long runs 1/2 an hr easy. I'd call that substantial.
But trucks do need to operate at the speed limit.

What's 1hr and 40min in metric?

one run is 480 miles with triples, so it's only five minutes when your 105,000 pounds. Our long run is 780 miles, saves us 18 minutes round trip.

This is a non topic... These guys totally miss the big picture on what a career is.. I'd drive a u model Mack if it meant full medical and pension... These people just don't get it

What makes it relevant is the increase is a bribe.

I understand.
You need a little more torque with those extra KPH and you'll see positive results.

Saves the driver I meet about 12 minutes one way - his is turned up. His run is longer but it should save me 8 or 9 one way whenever mine is done. I'll take that. That's either 15 minutes less at work or 15 minutes more pay if they hold me.

Really all of us are happy conway employees i tend to differ it may be a good paycheck it is not easy work in my mind lets all just pick daisies in the conway field of dreams and not want to try to better ourselves, 65 mph was not a big bounus for us drivers it was a win win for the company better fuel milage and more time for drivers to work the dock

Got the company owned assigned truck back and it is nice to not get the finger driving in a 70 mph zones. I feel pride and not embarrassment.

Wow people getting nuts over 3mph no run does it save 30 min learn math less than 20 on real long runs that's it but drink that pool aid

Beerfd is proud of himself and Conway once again . doesn't realize he's being played. He will come back with something real witty I'm sure. He loves it here

How's that 65mph working out? Did you make up all the money they took out your pocket x amount of years?

I like how he is proudly boasting about using the extra three miles an hour to give other drivers headaches. Thats real grown up and says alot about his mindset on the road.

The other driver s know how bad it is .they still laugh at ya. 65 who gives a ****. Did I see someone say they r proud .omg some people are really lost. Proud so u can still barely go the spped limit wow

I heard one driver has a 65mph NASA test truck. These things go so fast that next generation vehicle re-entry heat shields are glued across the entire front. Even the head lights are covered but there is no need for lights. The 40' flames blasting out of the stacks light the road all the way to the horizon.

Drawback; He's not allowed to go thru toll booths.

It probably was me and i was joking, lighten up.

It was funny xmd seeing if u were on ur toes lol i can't wait to get to the FAC faster so I can work with all my homies

If you save 5 min each way, look at the big picture it may be 5 min on the run...so that is 10 mins a day...times 5 days=50 min. A week thats 43 hrs in 52 to weeks or also known as 1 year....

Misery loves company. Some people just can't help turning a non polarizing thread into something ugly. Have a little bit of fun. Geez. I understand some people's stance against the company, but there are other threads for that. Just sayin'.
