My winter gear consists of long pants.
We got shut down, what...3 times because of ice? 10 months out of the year, no worries.
We shut down once that I can remember. A little over 2 feet of snow and -60 wind chills. This is what the Roadway dock down the street looked like.

For the first time in two years I missed the cut for runs on Thursday. Was given other options but worked 8.5 on the pad. I will say at least at my barn, I have a new found appreciation for our dock workers. Some hard working guys.. Traffic stunk Friday but it is what it is where my run takes me..

Our xcn Cincinnati Ohio dock is a " California " barn. No overhead doors. And no little wall between the bays. Every time there is bad weather it looks like that. And when it's storming everything is soaked.

Whats it like in the winter months?Heard they had a meeting wed.trying to explain the 2006 pension freeze,saying that by matching the 401k would be better ?It only took them 9 years to explain themselves,typical Con-Way.Is it true That the union put fiiers on the cars in the parking lot& the TM and FOM ran out and took them off?
they should ask before touching employees cars. Two wrongs don't make it rite.
