Dropped trailers will be 2pts. No longer automatic temination. Half strikes will be gone. There will be coaching sessions on accidents with no damage. Also the there are alot more changes coming. Can't remember all of them.. Stay tuned

Dropped trailers in the yard is 2 points. Dropped trailers on the road is now considered a catastrophic event.

It's a shame for you guys that it took an organizing drive to make these changes happen. Don't forget it when it's your turn to select a union.

All dropped trls in the yard are 2 points? Even empties? That's a load of crap! Especially with the suspect nature of Con-way's 5th wheels, given the number of dropped trls the company has each year.

Not all the equipment's fault.... Watched 10 drivers hook up last night including 25 year vets and rookies. Not one checked the fifth wheel with a flashlight. Pin up and go.

Where did ubhear this . I heard no more backups on Fri . anyone

Its true. Our SCM told us sweeping changes to the safety policy are coming in january. Dropped trailers on the road will no longer be considered catastrophic...the end of fri. backups is water cooler bull****

dropped trailers on the yard is one point now. (as long as You report it) So you are telling us that they are moving that up to TWO points? off the yard drops were already catastrophic events which put you out of service pending a review board decision.

I'm confused. i guess....

heard in from Greg l himself. They are phasing out two hour back ups.

Must not have much to do if you are just standing around watching drivers hook up.

I can see it ,again drive the old junk to build miles. While the new stuff sits or is driven by a new hire!

That's nuts. I've been doing that since day one here before all the policy stuff. Have always yanked on the pintle hook too especially in cold weather.
