I have one question if and only if the union is voted in and the company agrees to a contract how long would you have to work under the contract to be fully vested in the pension plan? Most people are saying as soon as a contract is sign and ratified they are vested. If I remember someone saying it used to be 10 yrs and if you had any other time it was time earned plus 5 yrs to fall under that pension. Most people are saying once signed if they have say 15 yrs they would have 15 yrs in plan. By which is wrong only if the company pays set amount per yr of service as define by plan which would never happen. Just want to some clarification on this. Thanks
