Yea man I know that's right but over here that's how they got it doesn't makes sense but it is what it isOh wow I thought they paid better than that. I started at ODFL at 23.45 an hr top pay after 3 yrs is in the 27s
So starting pay is 17 an hour tho?Top rate is $27.15 with OT after 8 & 68 cpm for line haul.
Yes that's starting paySo starting pay is 17 an hour tho?
Yes that's starting pay
Are you with OD right now?So starting pay is 17 an hour tho?
Yea I'm with OD couldn't be happier just got out of the food business(us foods) had a buddy wanting to come join me but no openings and upsf is hiring in the area and he was wondering about their pay.Are you with OD right now?
Yea but we getting the 60 hrs if needed I hear most other companies watch the hours to cut back on ot. From what u hear it's all about 6 in one half dozen the otherty thing about od is 60 hours before ot kicks in.

I have done the math equals close to the sameIf you do the math for 60 hours worked at $27 an hour you would be making less than someone making $24 an hour with overtime after 8/40 hrs
A difference of 40 bucks if ot after 8 and you work 12 hrs 5 days a weekIf you do the math for 60 hours worked at $27 an hour you would be making less than someone making $24 an hour with overtime after 8/40 hrs

Okay 60 bucks but how often you getting that 20 hrs ot? And with OD cost of living increase every year I'm sure we will be in 29 30 range by 2018 at any rate I didn't come to argue you pay like I said we all making about the same I just thought upsf started at a higher rateAround $60 less for $27 an hour with no overtime. Which is why comparing the rate itself is not a great comparison.
I believe in 2018 which top rate is somewhere in the $28-29 range? Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
And that's with tume and a half after 8/40 hrs

I agree but not that big of difference if only 60 bucks and how often are they getting that? Although idk if they have bennys paid for either that's a big difference thereI don't work for UPSF. I was just chiming in. Not trying to start an argument either. You compared OD pay scale to UPSF and I just added in that overtime after 8/40 makes a big difference when comparing the two.
