How have y'all been doing? I'm back for now. Havent decided if I'm gonna stay active for a while or disappear again.

As far as an update goes,

I moved out of Indy and had to leave the post office because of it, as I didn't think the job was worth the drive.

I'm still truckin. OTR....... Well, sort of. I'm regional on the east coast driving for a small company that shuts down on the weekend.

Well let me be the first to welcome you back to the forum :)

Glad you're back amount the living!!

Things change, people change, avocations change.

It's good you're still driving!

Thank You!

How familiar are you guys with Wolfpak? They're based out of Elizabethtown PA and they're known for their fleet of dressed up W900L's.

I love this company. :)

Checking in with no familiarity here. What kind of operation is it? What are they transporting and where?

Dry vans east coast regional except NYC. The furthest west they typically run is to the Mississippi, but they do have a few customers in Kansas and Iowa. They own Appallation, which manufactures commercial grade insulation. They also haul a lot of JM insulation and paper rolls. They pay by the hour and pay time and a half after 40 hours. Wide open trucks & loose leaf logs. You're out 5 days a week and you're home every weekend. It's not hard to get 60 hours a week and drive 3,000 miles plus if you aren't afraid to work.

I'll post a few company trucks.

Even though typical loads are only around 20,000 lbs, Wolfpak specs out their trucks for mountains. My truck has a C15 with a 18 speed trans.

C-15 with a 18 (Roadranger?)!

Kiwiray very much talked up a 18 speed Roadranger as the BEST.

Regarding the website: Working Show Trucks!!

WELL DONE!!
Nice Rig!!

Hi AB,

I can't believe you left the post office for OTR home on the weekends! Thats crazy, you were making alot of money at the PO, plus the retirement, I never thought you would leave.

Welcome back, glad you like your new deal.

Money is good at Wolfpak too. I wouldn't have left the PO if I were to take a huge hit in pay.

I'm getting 401k matching at Wolfpak also, so no loss there.
