My holiday pay came up as 16.948 an hour .. not sure where this number came from ..

Seems very odd. 16.77 would be 2/3 of 25.41. Would be easy to explain as a simple keying error in payroll somewhere. But 16.948 a weird number. 2/3 you'd have to be at 25.66.

I went paperless in 2007. You can see 9/24 paycheck on the portal as early as the friday before.
