New Penn | Can it get any worse?

The current thought pattern would need about 50 new managers to do the job. One to dial the phone.One to hold the phone.One to listen to the phone.One to hold charts and graphs for the one designated to talk in it. One to formulate the ideas FOR the charts and graphs. One to start the new video. One to pass out quizzes.We might need the safety departments involvement which would require at least ten more......and one to talk in the phone and one to type in the computer. We need to take care of the important things before moving that freight.
 
Be careful what you ask...YRC has a team doing an audit on New Penn So Kearny this week, Can only imagine the changes they are going to put in.
 
Rumor has it that there were job cuts in the past week.

When do we get to audit YRC?

After we're all out of work I guess.

Not a rumor it's true 3 drivers left for UPS one supervisor was given choice of transferring to Phila or being let go and another long time supervisor who knew what he was doing was let go. New motto We don't need employees WE HAVE CARTAGE just give the work away.
 
Heard about 8 are gone. Including the TM at 14. Who was only here a year.
Christy from comp. rich from safety and a few other long time employees.
Soon it will be all Yrc people running the ship into the ground.
 
Roadrunner is taking over. The company which knew what to do gets bossed by loser companies like Roadrunner and YRC, right into the ground.
When bigshot business tells ya "We know what we're doing."
Get ready to look for another job.
Because the only thing they know is how to look out for themselves.....NOT a company full of people.
 
I see money being spent on YRC and Holland as far equipment, technology and facilities new penn is just being drained nothing spent other than a few leased tractors and a couple of new doors on trailers that shouldn't be on the road. But make sure your seatbelt is on!
 
Let's just say that our new top crew WAS Roadrunner. Not that Roadrunner is buying us or something. Just my opinion not some inside info scoop cause I don't have that nor would I want it. Before rumors begin that we're being bought or something.
 
Most probably just cutting costs like they can with nonunion employees everywhere. Take an older worker who's gotten promotions and raises for years. Axe them and fill the spot with a lower paid new employee.
 
The 2 floaters were released, scott & rich. Rich went to nemf. Im guessing the cuts were all from the corporate end?
