Local man in coma after eating 413 Red Lobster biscuits.

A local food writer was rushed to UAMS hospital last night after consuming 413 Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Red Lobster. Doctors confirm that he slipped into a coma shortly after being admitted into the emergency room.

The restaurant lists the biscuits as 150 calories each and a chef for the restaurant tells us they have approximately 1/8th of a stick of butter in each. UAMS doctors are speculating that it is the equivalent of 51.5 sticks of butter that Shalin ate that is causing the coma.

One article in the local paper today that is true says that a 20 yr. old man was killed while playing Russian roulette in a deer camp. The report said he & friends were smoking wacky tobaccy. His friends said he had one round in a six round revolver. He died on the way to a local hospital.

Sounds like some of my deer hunting trips back in Michigan, back in the seventies. Shining but no Russian roulette.
 
The Rock City Times is a satirical paper that prints humorous stories. It is entertaining to read. Another Little rock paper is the Arkansas Times. It is an extreme left paper that also prints fiction but tries to pass it off as fact. It is well known for writing news instead of reporting it.
The Rock City Times is always good for a laugh. A recent "Report" shows a nuclear bomb being used to clear ice off highways.
The Arkansas Times is still in mourning over the last election.
Even as far left as the paper is they don't always support Hillary. A recent article was not kind to her. They probably had the nerve to print something the Clintons didn't like. When Hitlery warns "there will be hell to pay" most reporters cower like a whipped pup. Sometimes though even left wing reporters show a little backbone against the Clintons.
 
The state has a rich history of machine politics. Before the Clintons there was Orval Faubus. He is famous for blocking minority students from attending Central High. President Eisenhower sent in federal troops via parachute to protect the students. Faubus ran the democratic party in the state for many years. He was feared by many of the states residents. Winthrop Rockefeller finally defeated him in the election for governor. Rockefeller was the first republican governor since reconstruction.
