But of course they have the power to give each other raises, bonuses, new vehicles, and a lot more, without the approval of the membership or anybody else. You and I , as lowlife dues payers, do not have the power to get that for ourselves.
 
At UPS Freight we are financing these exaggerated salaries by having to sit at home while freight is sub-contracted by owner ops. Still have to pay dues though. Subcontracting clause violated daily but yet dues are still extorted while members sit on the couch wondering how they will be able to pay their mortgage because we back up the owner ops. They come first. No runs for dues paying members but always for subcontractors. What a farce.
 
One thing we can try to do is to try to vote out the worse-than-worthless Hoffa Cabal, and get a real labor leader like Tim Sylvester in as General President.
