When I started at New Penn 20 years ago starting casual rate was $17.80 per hour 20 years later people are starting on the dock at $11.90 Per hour. And most of us know to well what that job is like in NJ during the winter with no dock bumpers or heat.

The cost of cigarettes is mostly "sin tax" in about 40 of the 50 states. The mega dollar lawsuits that were filed and won recently went to the states to cover the cost of healthcare for smokers.
