If 309 will give me a load to St.Paul partner. Told them I would stay up there a few weeks if they wanted. As long as I get double time the entire time.

If your a driver and work that 6th day. Won't it cut you short on hours the following week?

No. I work 6 days every week as a line driver. It’s a 34 hour reset not a 48 hour reset.

Someone told me you're getting 15% less than you used to get. Were they talking about pay?
I just bank my OT hours partner, and have them pay me a few months later when I call in too tired to work....

The 34 hr restart was made available for drivers in the 2019-2024 Master Freight Agreement. Language concerning the Voluntary 34 hr restart begins on page 18...Bottom right...It is on the driver to use it or notAccording to this MOU, we still follow the 70-hour rule. Not the 34-hour reset.

Thank you for the info sundrop03. I just found the language (Article 34) in your contract. I work at ABF, and our current contract does not yet have that language (2018-2023). We are still under the MOU rule. Hopefully, we can get that language in our contract in 2023 as we have city drivers that are limited to how many hours they can work on their 6th/7th day due to that MOU from 2004. How do I stop my ELD from doing a 34hr restart?
You can’t. It automatically does it. You just have to keep track of your own hours.

Oh.When I was at NPME they didn't use the 34. hour reset.

MOU is no longer valid. New contract gave company 34 hour restart.According to this MOU, we still follow the 70-hour rule. Not the 34-hour reset.
ELD automatically resets after 34hr, Driver has no control/option no to do a restart.
I’m glad you said this, “MOU is no longer valid” if that is so, how come the 15% and the pension contributions was not restored?
