The senior people get the runs and work hours they want.I would encourage stewards to have regular, casual “meetings” to drive participation. No one has time for quarterly dog & ponies at the hall. Especially when we make good money, work too much & miss our families. Meeting with small groups(all classifications) at the shop, monthly for ten minutes doesn’t put anyone out and sets a tone that we’re in this together.
The junior people are just hoping to get enough work to survive.
The people in the middle have been there long enough to know that nothing changes for them until the old farts die or retire.
