I love all these , high tech terms,
Transportation management systems,
Advanced analytics,
Freight visibility
Real time data,
Integrated technology Platforms,
Leverage Cloud computing,
Fleet decision making,
AI.
All it takes is a system crash, or hack, and freight and operations come to a stand still. No backup system.

It's like a technical way to say they're screwing drivers.

The pattern of bullshit speak has evolved longer than OP has been alive.

Decorated Corporate Talk evolved after that. And here we are.

Transportation management systems,

Aka Dispatchers

Advanced analytics,

Find a list of drivers not meeting 45 miles an hour at 6 AM have them call you and explain why they are late.

Freight visibility

If you cannot see it go into trailer you dont make any money. Worse if you have not learned to count.

Real time data,

Those come in phone calls when your drivers break stuff.

Integrated technology Platforms,

Gadgets that distract your burned out Office Drones.

Leverage Cloud computing,

Internet. Passes time in your office while waiting for something to happen.

Fleet decision making,

Thats for the chosen ones to decide. Not for you or anyone else.

AI.

Might as well, they cannot screw this whole thing up any more than it is already.

And they wonder why we drivers get difficult when its time to fix problems created by the Company, Shippers, DOT, etc.
