SAIA | Airlines and Electrical cord

SAIA safety dept sent a notice last year maybe longer stating that all lines must be free hanging without assistance from bungee cords, ropes or anything besides an appropriate spring hose holder. DOT was writing up drivers who had done so in inspections.

Half of the HST Region Fleet air lines are either bungee corded, yellow roped, are tied up with plastic ties. "Just Saying"
 
Here’s one I’ve never heard of: If the lettering on the service and trailer brake valves are wore off, it’s a violation. Not sure if that’s a SAIA thing or an actual dot violation but I had to have them replaced for that very reason.
