for the life of me, being on this earth as many years as i have, and being a former mechanic, have i ever seen this company NOT HAVE an issue with roll-a-ways....

so they want to get rid of thier cars, in favor of MORE SUV's and light trucks, meaning MORE WEIGHTS jus' rollin' along..?????

why don't they get thier crap together and do this right, rather than to keep producing ship-shod products?

"Ford issued a recall on July 18 for more than a half-million Fusion and Escape vehicles that have a potential rollaway risk due to faulty shifter cable bushings."

Don't remember where I read it but there are Ford vehicles out there on recall for steering wheels that come off with little effort
I thought this only happens on tv shows and commercials ?

Here is a good one, back in the day manufactures were installing steering wheel locks to stop theft.

However when I purchased my new GMC 4x4 pickup.
The dealer claimed steering wheel locks were a thing of the past.
He said with the cost of vehicles going up so high, that there was more repo's.
Seems it is easier to repo a vehicle without steering wheel locks.
