Thats because it doesn't take a high educated person to operate a truck these days, but it is required to operate a business. It only takes three weeks of training to becoming a truck driver, and an average of six years to become a smart, successful, business man. Thats what happens when their a lot of other trucking companies in America that don't have union representation. That is why it is important to support for everyone to support their union and helping them achieve some goals that they need help with. Help out by doing some voluntary leadership roles. Give the union a call and see what they may need help with. Be a Brother, not a begger.

[/quote]Mr. Italian Style I'm a third generation teamster. my Grandfather & Father both served as officer's in their locals. I'm pro union & have been involvded in my local for 30 years. I have volunyeered many times with our organizing efforts....however that doesn't stop from my disappointment with the IBT during this whole episode!!

Let's get one thing straightened out, right of the bat, Tyson is the one that's the beggar here, not Lefty!!!!!!!!!!! It just ticks me off so much that when our own IBT is trying to screw us on this and that still some people will keep believing "all the way to the slaughter house". It comes a time to stand up when you are being wronged, even if it's by someone you have always trusted. That's much, much worse!!!!!!!!!!!
