I think safety should be awarded by the simple formula of (Bonus = .1Y x cumulative hours driven). Where Y = Years safely driven.

10c an hour for your first year safe.

$2.50 an hour for a 25 year driver.

It should also reset for any accident or incident.

Yes there is such a survey, which is always among the MOST poorly communicated. Ironic, huh?
