Biden approval rating hits new low: poll

Biden's approval rating fell to 39 percent in the poll, which was released exclusively to The Hill. Of that, 18 percent of registered voters said they strongly approve of the job he's doing, while 21 percent say they somewhat approve. Meanwhile, 53 percent said they somewhat or strongly disapprove of his job performance.

That number is six points down from his approval rating in November, when he was at 45 percent, while his disapproval rating ticked up from 51 percent two months ago.

This CBS News/YouGov survey was conducted with a nationally representative sample of 2,041 U.S. adult residents interviewed between May 18-20, 2022.

This poll is all but useless “adult residents” could be anyone.
Likely voters is the most accurate polling I’m guessing they were trying to fluff up Brandon’s numbers polling illegals and international visitors.

President Biden has done well enough with the mess he inherited — certainly a lot better than the day-to-day horror of the Trump administration.

President Biden has done a truly amazing job in office thus far. On the pandemic, his administration made sure that vaccinations, boosters and medications have been available at no cost. With bipartisan support, he was able to pass a massive infrastructure bill that all of our recent presidents could only dream about.

Inflation is high, but that is beyond his control. It is international and can be largely attributed to the war in Ukraine and a post-pandemic reaction to supply chains rebounding. Unemployment is low and wages are up.

As for the “botched” Afghanistan withdrawal, getting out of a long-term war is a messy business. I have not heard anyone in the media ask what if we hadn’t gotten out — how would the media be playing it if we were still watching Americans returning home in body bags?
