Brothers and Sisters ... what does the term ('Teamster Brothers' (and 'Sisters') mean today?

I'll tell you ... but first I will tell you what it 'used' to mean. It used to mean UNION, UNITY, BROTHERHOOD! We used to look out for eachother and take care of the membership.

This is what it means today ... Junior members are laid off ... Senior members are working overtime and sucking up to management. Union leaders are letting the Senior members suck up to management and letting management force the seniors to work overtime and not call the laid offs back to pick up the slack.

The IBOT wants to let three dollar bill crap all over us.

I'm laid off ... and hundreds of others as well. Only those (the seniors) who are working can save us all. With their votes.

We should all be scared ... very scared...
Those who are still working....won't save anyone but themselves.

Why should they care about the rest of us?

The time for being scared is over with, WD. Its time for actions, not words.

Too bad its every man for himself these days, so we will all hang as individuals instead of as a union of men. Bow down to the new masters.

WD I don't see a problem with all this 'spreading of the wealth'....do you? I kinda like what's happened to this country and our industry. Looks like it's gonna get even better real soon. Pat yourself on the back and lets all bow down to the 'UNION' that saved our a$$. Greed is GOOOOOOOOOD.....that is if your the one getting the money and dues. Big wet Cow Kizz to you Jr.....and a cow pie to the rest of you lower eshelon, pee on, rank and file, that USED to care about your brothers but now just want to screw as many people as possible before you get your a$$ laid off too. YRC can kiss my big fat cowz :eck13:....I love you....

Why do you constantly blame the senior guys for what is happening?? Sure there are a few greedy ones that couldn't give a ::shit:: about any one except themselves.. I know I work with one always looking at his timecard to see how many hours he can work tomorrrow, but that is a few, most do care and from what I read on the yrc forums here, they are forever filing on the O/T trying to force YRC to bring back guys off of layoff. Please don't blame the entire membership for the actions of a few

We are ALL
brothers and sisters in this YRC mess

This is exactly the type of infighting the union companies WANT TO SEE.

DON'T blame the players, blame the game.

All you can do is try to make what is left of the contract work for you and stock up on vaseline. Try to cover your Brothers n Sisters, but don't do it at the expense of your job also. It is called basic survival.

DON'T blame the players, blame the game.

Right you are........ Blame the game, But you have to have players to play the game.......... Would look different if we didn't have the O/T players.......

Funny how opinions change when they are now on lay-off.........

We're all brothers and sisters! Pllllleeeease! If you're talking about that we all came from the same couple,Adam and Eve then I agree with you. As far as the onion is concerned excuse me while I puke. Where I was 90% were, are greedsters in the first order. Some will get their(like they're entitled to it)60 hours and then work 2nd jobs while pos management allows it. Then others will sign up for a few hours of Saturday work and keep a laidoff guy from that 1 day he may need to get his benefits for his family. Like a few more hours would kill this trash if they didn't get it. All these me-sters have to do is invoke the 10 hour rule but they won't. They always seem to smile to see a junior man get laidoff knowing they'll screw more o/t out of the dumb company. Maybe its wrong but I sometimes think how much I'd like to see this moronic company shutdown just to see all the prima-donnas whine like little baby girls. They know no other company is going to hire them. Welcome to wal-mart, theres your future! Brotherhood in this onion, not in our lifetimes!!!

So where were You?

If you are retired then how did the other 10% behave before you left?

How did you handle these issues?

And do you want to see YRC close its doors?

Is it every guy that is senior to you doing this??? I highly doubt that, like I said before there are a lot of meesters in the union today ,twenty or so years ago I don't think it would be tolerated..We have it where I work and I would have to say every terminal, union and non-union have it ..90% :coffee1: guess your not liked very much where your at...

the bottom line is the older guys are screwing everyone else by working 60 hours a week but mark my word their day is coming and i will laugh my ass off because these pos deserve everything they got coming to them !!!!!!!!!!

Like someone above me posted. This is what I have seen when I was called in to help. We have one person who refuses to answer the phone, we have a person who spends at least 20% of her time talking to her kids even tho she is supposed to be the switch board and will not put her personal call on hold. This same person will chitchat with people in the office and will not answer the phone while talking with management people even tho that is what her bid is. Why can't our TM see this. Because he is one of the people she is socialising with. No wonder our jobs are being shipped elsewhere. Maybe they will actually make people do their jobs.

There was 1 senior guy and myself who was happy with our 40. Why ta hell would anyone want to spend more then that let alone 60 hours in the hell hole that it is. Must be the greedy d bags are living beyond their means trying to keep up with the fubos!
What would you suggest I have done, pistol whip them? If the damn onion wouldn't do anything what then? I did bring up to our pos ba about talking to the greedsters and everyone in general but the scum, said, "I'm not taking the senior guys overtime away". Not even until things maybe start to straighten itself out I said. NO!!! I wanted eveyone to hold to no more then 50.
Yes and no. Theres still some good people there but they're out numbered. I would enjoy however going into a McDonald's and see the me-sters cleaning a grease trap. Be'd the first honest work they did in a very long time.

I could have had all the o/t i wanted but I had a life outside of that craphole. Unlike the greedsters, I took retirement, let them die on the job if they want, all the more pension money left for myself and others that aren't brain dead like the me-sters. Actually, the only ones that didn't like me were the company butt licks(most all) but when they had a problem they always wanted help. Typical of a me-ster. PS: I was there to work, not make friends, although the last year with the merge and all the roadway management playing favorites with their lovers, I screwed them so bad I almost felt guilty. Almost!

Pre-Packer game!? Isn't that what the me-sters do with management before the big salami!? PS: I think the Bills just felt sorry for them and let them win, you know, with them still trying to get over brett farce leaving.

Annieo, I see that your typing has improved. Either you got your keyboard fixed or finally got them hooves fixed. It looks like you had a serious case of cow toe.

But, I'll bet that cow toe still feels more comfortable than camel toe.:biglaugh::clapping:

:6817: I couldn't resist.
