i've done that . the only problem with is that there was a whistling noise with the air rushing between her ears

Many years ago, fighter pilots in Vietnam had the same problem with many different alarms going off. They were designed to warn the pilots of things like SAMs and the like, however the pilots found them so distracting during battle that many of them opted to silence them. At least they had the option. I always thought that it would be interesting in exploring the possibility of the company being held at fault in an accident for introducing distractions in the cab.
