Cotati A flatbed semi carrying an old Cadillac plowed into a condominium in Cotati.
Police say the truck was travelling southbound on 101 and exited at the West Sierra.
The truck's brakes failed on the offramp causing it to hit one tree, smash through a couple of fences, and plow into a condominium complex. The vehicle went about 10 feet into the building, crashing into the unit's kitchen area.
It happened around 12:30p.m. on Sunday.
Luckily the condo unit was vacant. The driver suffered minor injuries.
