I was told, that was the date that anyone hired on or after 8-8-08, is to be Paramount and check the box on log accourdingly. They are in,my opinion , trying to increase their profit margin. Trucks turned down helped alot, I save alot feul each trip using 10 to 15 gal. less. Times that company wide, thats pretty big. As far as lease or paramount drivers,whatever they are to called. They are, again in opinion, going to this. R+L city 3+years of employment makes $20+hr. Midwest city drivers get worked pretty hard (most do) there are some sissys though. These hours from what I see are adding up to at least 55 to 60 hrs for most of city crew. Cut hours, use cheaper city P&D drivers(Paramount) . My take is that there is NO INTENSION to weed out R+L employees by the Roberts family. However, I do see managment under Wilmington use this as a tool to make them, their numbers, their terminals, their regions to look good on paper. Those are my thoughts and what I know of, in general, I would'nt be worried, but there are some snakes out there for themselves. Watch yourself and always think of what your doing, and do it mistake-free. Give no reason for someone to fix your wagon. MY THOUGHTS ONLY.
