Looking at the photos I can see they need to automate, too many employee's.
It's just not a profitable way to run a business anymore.

    SELF-DRIVING

What Can TuSimple Do for You?

UPS said yesterday its venture arm acquired a minority stake in TuSimple, an autonomous trucking startup. The two also revealed they’ve been testing cargo routes between Tucson and Phoenix, most of which was hate mail between ASU and UA students.

Refresher: TuSimple, HQ’d in San Diego and Beijing, was last valued at $1.1 billion. Chief Product Officer Chuck Price did his best to convince Ryan Duffy, our emerging tech writer, that his company’s the leader in the industry. Price said...

    • UPS (-0.15%) is the first investment by a major shipping company into a self-driving startup.
    • TuSimple has the largest self-driving truck fleet “by far.”
    • A recent two-week pilot with USPS on one of the U.S.’ busiest freight corridors was successful.
Next steps: UPS plans to use this partnership to figure out how it will plug autonomous trucks into its massive logistics network. By “late 2020, early 2021,” TuSimple expects to remove the safety driver and engineer currently riding in each truck, Price said.

Well thankfully you're finally coming around to the fact we don't need your friends from south of the border as cheap labor, we need more automation.

Yes and each machine should pay the equivalent in US & State tax's and Social Security for each employee eliminated.
    What do you think?

Somebody needs to pay our Social Security and Medicare my senior friend.
And we are also going to need a guaranteed income.

just a few of the challenges arriving.

Go ahead I'm retired, you on the other hand I'm sure will be able to enjoy years of competing with immigrants willing to work for pennies on the dollar just for the opportunity to drive a truck in the "land of the free and home of the brave", just don't ask for a raise......that doesn't go over very well with Inkbal and Akmad waiting in the wings.

automate any more jobs and the products being made by robots wont sell. how will the burnouts buy their pot with no money?

its the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. why would a company pay ss and taxes on robots, it would just be an incentive to hire employees.

oh wait, i forgot, a large percentage of the population wants to sit on their ass and watch tv all day....

how is it a "freedom" dividend if they just tax every one a ton more, to give some of it back?

its ok. want to see a real economic collapse? let the idiots in charge take us further down this automation rabbit hole. it wouldn't matter if the gov gives you free money, it will be as valuable as toilet paper...

i guess the barter system will be popular again....

It's the truth and you know, and now you can explain why you support a party who's sole mission is to give whatever you have to anybody that just strolls across the border including your hard earned money and any hopes of retirement, please explain.

Use your shotgun to eliminate yourself. I doubt your sawzall or bicycle would do the job.

That train left the station long ago when our previous gop presidents thought it would be a good idea to police the world
Some gopers thought Iraq oil would help pay the effort

Silly rabbits They thought the liberals gave away the house

Did you watch the debates? Did any of them address border security? Did you see them all fall all over each other with promises of what the illegals are going to get for free? Did any of them step forward and have the courage to say "these are all lofty goals but the truth is we currently have millions of Americans struggling each and every month to pay for healthcare and education and that's gotta be fixed first"? NOPE!!!, so support away and bask in the thought of whatever they'll give away should rightfully be yours, Iraqi oil seriously....policing the world? ask Urkel about that ...get some sleep....your off topic.
