I'm thinking of applying for a linehaul job in the near future, and I've heard more good than bad about Estes. I was wondering if anyone had a favorite terminal in the Chicago area or knew of any major differences between them. I know Joliet is the newest/biggest with the most bid runs, but I live closer to Elgin and Lincolnshire. I've only ever driven for a mega truckload carrier, so I don't know much about the LTL world. Any words are much appreciated!

If you live up north ,Joliet is a haul , a half inch on a map in Chicagoland is two hours driving
