Yeah, from Marysville to well north of Chico it is still pretty much a two lane highway, for the most part.
Caltrans finally widened it to four lanes, from Sacramento to before Marysville, which was one dangerous streach of road.
Like you said, it is very deceptive when passing. I am glad the tanker driver made it out alive.
May God take good care of this poor young womans' soul.
