Has anyone seen the clown from cin that told his story about the rollover he helped out at in Carlisle, PA ? By the way he told the story, you would think the fire company, police, and medics where there for the hell of it. He claims he got the driver out, helped conatain fuel and paint spills, and verified other hazmat was intact. If he really did all this, how was he not arrested for interfering? If he had any common sense, he would not have moved the driver(can you say back/neck injury?), and I doubt the wrecker driver really let him grab oil dry off of his wrecker. Not to mention, what's up with the bluetooth he is wearing in the picture? I thought we weren't allowed to use phones while driving, hands free or otherwise.

I also forgot to mention : If I ever meet this guy in person, I'm going to sing to him "we don't need another hero" Thanks for the laugh...... Raggedy man!!

I did hear about this guy but have never met him.I did know the driver that rolled the truck,he was out of the old PHL terminal. I also heard this(hero) recieved some sort of award from fedex, but i could not confirm this.

Why post about old news that cannot be verified? Just seems like badmouthing without foundation.

The story I speak of is in our company newsletter, Northeast News. He received an award for "protecting the company interest"

geez, sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

And IF he really did do all of this it sounds like he deserves an award (oh that's right, he GOT ONE!!) I hope he's there if I'm in an accident. You better hope so too.

There's always a hater. Let him have his 15 minutes. What does it's take from your life?

I agree, I made the AF Dispatch in 2000 when I was first on scene at a car accident in the snow. The ambulance had a female/male EMT combo and with the bad weather I helped them get things situated cause the weather made everything worse. Got a letter from the ambulance company, but it just was the right thing to do, wasn't looking for a pat on the back. Would hope someone would do the same if my family was in that situation.
