I sold a drag car years ago to a friend who was going through a divorce. He stripped it & sold the high dollar parts. All that was left was a body in the back yard. No engine, transmission & even the rare rear end was gone. His ex wife's lawyer took a pic & showed the judge who promptly ordered him to put parts back on the car to make it streetable to be sold at auction. What the ex got was not nearly as valuable as the car was when it was in racing condition.
