Just wondered how busy 326/KCM was and if lower seniority guys were getting any calls?

You actually want to come back to that ::shit:: hole of a place? If that is what you are doing then you can expect to work 2-3 days a week and possibly get a full week come end/beginning of the month. 16:00 or midnights.

Off topic, but whats up w/the orange Jiff in the "scrap yard", I mean parking lot, behind the terminal.

At 434, we used them for our "satellite" jiffs. The one's we had were not convertable as a third axle on the tractor for a van.

Thx, I just learned something new. I knew it wasn't from Holland because it was only a single axle.

[/quote] You have to start somewhere.

Half a paycheck, equal to a full paycheck OTR, is an improvement for some people. It depends in their financial and insurance situation.

:hissy:Starting to see a lot of old familiar faces at 218/211 dock/yard as laid off employees are coming back to work "on call" as unemployment benefits in Ohio are running out after almost 2 years! Work should be plentiful for some time as vacation replacement opportunities willl abound for the next 3 months!

Its great to hear things are starting to go well there. I get into 218 and 211 sometimes. Say Hi. I'm the guy in the Roadway or Yellow tractor!!! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

I was 'thinking' about doing this for the summer, while there is lots of work, just for insurance reasons. But the hall told me that it takes 6 weeks for the insurance to kick back in. I don't understand how it takes 30 days when you first start as a new employee, but 6 weeks to reinstate someone that has been there 9 years. Huh??
