Very nice !!
My old CF buddy and wife are down visiting this week.Old Corn Flakes lives matter.
You mean how you both ran in the hammer lane constantly. My old CF buddy and wife are down visiting this week.
And no, we are not sitting around lying and talking about how fast them trucks will go!
Sad to say, you know better! You mean how you both ran in the hammer lane constantly.
Yeah I do but I also drove for Nationsway so I know slow. I was once was passed by a Amish fella who laughed & waved as he blew my doors off. His horse even shook his head.Sad to say, you know better!
Take it from an old Johnson Motor Lines driver, that"s a no no!Sad to say, you know better!
Back in the old days, lazy J had some horses that ran the Hammer Lane!Take it from an old Johnson Motor Lines driver, that"s a no no!
We got banned on the New Jersey Turnpike.Back in the old days, lazy J had some horses that ran the Hammer Lane!
I heard a story about that. When the authority pointed out Johnson trucks speeding down the turnpike the owner said his drivers were doing their job, getting the freight moved. Classic!!!We got banned on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Nice picture, brings back a lot of good memories. JML was a great company to work for. My first 10 years as a Teamster was with them. The boys schooled me good back then.
Now that is the road tractor I remember when I started at JML. Dropped and hooked many teams coming into South Kearney, N.J, terminal in the 70"s while I was a hostler in the yard. Later after I had some experience ran p&d with a little Ford cabover like Roadway had. Good little trucks to run in the metropolitan area of NJ and NY.
Little before my time, seabreeze.Roady, do you remember when Lazy J replaced the old RDFC 405 with this one with box sleeper, JT Cummins, and 8 spd Roadranger?
They had a lot of unhappy drivers with this underpowered thing.
