ODFL | Covid19

Customers have started asking health ?'s to drivers. Also, seeing some forms being pushed on drivers to answer health ? and asking you to sign.We do not sign any form till OD Management is able to review those forms.Left freight on customers dock Friday.I will answer if asked. But,I'm not signing or filling out anything. Also, other Carrier's are not delivering and not picking up there freight either for the same reason.

I would guess many shippers, and consignees, are being told by their legal dept to go this route because of liability. Sad, but even in a National emergency companies do things like this. On the other hand, if a driver asked a customer rep to sign a similar form for him, would they do it? I doubt it.

Word is corporate is panicking and planning for a massive slow down.,,,, Already put a freeze on all hiring and replacement hiring,

No travel for office personnel also,

Anyone Slowing down lately?? Don’t see the usual crying of sitting at home as much as last year yet,,,

Same here, SB. Sun shining through the south-facing kitchen bay window when I got home from my part-time NON-freight job this afternoon. ‘Only’ 7 hours today though. Jeez, I used to put in seven hours before LUNCH back in my freight days. Hope all is well in the Carolina’s! Stay healthy!!

Door greeter at Walmart? Just joking. I wish the best for everyone on TB, forget politics and everything else, I hope that this virus situation is over soon.
