this the new rating systems for safety for not only the trucking companies, but for every driver. each comapny will supply the DOT with every accident and ticket you get. You will be rated as good, ok, or bad. If you apply for a new job and they run you name and Lic number they will get all your info and how you are rated. Drivers rated good will be in demand to keep the companies safety rating good. Ok drivers will do OK, and bad rated drivers will only work for the bottom feeder co. Everything you do , such as speeding tickets , out light, non secured hazmat, missing ppwk will get you safety points towards your rating. the higher the number the lower the rating.
