Some common examples:
Vehicle Maint:
Most lighting violations: 6 points
Most tire violations: 8 points
Tire-Low air: 3 points
Failure to correct defects noted on previous inspection report: 4 points
Failure to place/improper placement of warning devices on the road surface: 2 points
HazMat:
Package not secure in vehicle: 10 points
No placards/markings when required: 5 points
Representing vehicle with Hazardous Materials with none present: 5 points
Placard does not meet specifications: 5 points
ID Number on placard does not meet specifications: 5 points
Improperly parked hazmat vehicle: 6 points
Driver Fitness:
Driver cannot read/speak the English language sufficiently to respond to official inquiries :4 points
Driver must be able to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language: 4 points
No medical certificate in driver's possession: 1 point
