Denver Co. Looking At Up To 24" Of Snow By Tuesday

Sometimes I miss running out West, then I read something like this on Labor Day. Chain law went into affect on September 1. Must be equipped with them even if they are not needed. ( don’t ask how I know )

We used to run three feet powder in the east as long there is enough RPM range to hold traction.

Snow was no excuse for stopping in those days.

You were caught without Chains and Fined PLUS You Had To Buy Chains.
NO SECRET. :1036316054:
Doesn't matter if it's "Company Truck or O.O."!

First 2000 decade I carried Chains in the Factory bag (inside an aluminum Box mounted To Frame behind sleeper) on a Pond to Pond Truck and never used them.
They rusted into an anchor.
Cheaper to "have them" than "need them" plus NO FINE! :15:
