He can talk all he wants and can say whatever he wants, but at the end of the day his last name is still "Buttgag" and bumper stickers and yard signs will be a very tough sell.

    Democrat choices:
    Fake Indian
    Guy who eats dirt
A guy who thinks Jesus would have supported planned parenthood

What nation are you referring to Bubba? Hopefully a small island located east of the dateline. And one not expected to flip over anytime soon for that matter.

The utter ignorance of most of these Democrat candidates is appalling to most of us. I've never seen a larger group of buffoons in my life. And these idiots want to lead our nation? WTH?
I would laugh at these circus clowns if it wasn't such a serious issue. And just think, one of these Democrat idiots are going to represent the Democrat party as their leader, and they're one election away from running our country.
    Wow.
    Just plain wow.

I doubt he's the Dark Horse. I expect him to be the eventual Nominee. He comes across to moderate left-leaners as quiet and commonsensical as opposed to the Prez. Unknown to most is that hes a Progressive (slow to change Communist). Since he's Gay, he's got the "trump card" to the Dems.

As with everything else Pete says- he's wrong, of course. Jesus claimed to be here to Fulfill the Law. The Mosiac Law condemns the things Mayor Pete loves. The article says Pete is Espiscopalian. That explains it all... the leadership of the Episcopalian Church and the Quaker Church have been taken over by Homosexuals.

Martin Luther King would not be an Obama supporter. Either would Walter Payton. Jesus would not support abortion, but Allah would because it's death

So baby killing and sex with animals is what he wants to run on? He's another great example of where the Democrats want to take this country.

Buttigieg's shots at Mike Pence might be good political posturing. And his vague presentation of Christianity which doesn't deal specifically with what the Bible says might be appealing to a liberal electorate.

But it doesn't make for good Christianity. A Christianity that is detached from the Bible can easily become anything any person wants it to be, putting personal opinion in the seat of authority instead of God.

The Bible says what it says. Any Christian who decides it's alright to disregard any of it, tempting as that might be, risks bringing their own faith to ruin by removing the foundation on which it is built.

I don't think that a guy named Peter N. Buttgagger should be talking about Christianity with the lifestyle that he lives.
    Just sayin'.

Doesn't the bible say all kinds of things not many today follow?
But you say everyone should follow it to the T?
Probably you really mean the part's you think is valid right

Yep. You're right. Jesus told us that very very very very few will make the cut. And that many many claim to follow Him, and are liars.

Just like there are many hundreds of thousands of laws on our books, and many don't follow those. So, by your logic, there should be no laws, period? Might as well just burn the books and disassemble all police, right?

Christianity is about studying the Bible, and TRYING our best to follow His Ways, best we can. Will we slip, and sin? Yes. And we'll pray, repent, and beg forgiveness. And try again to be better. That seems a long way from just dismissing it because it's popular and making our own rules...

Some laws are good and people should follow them, some aren't like laws having to do with sex.
A law against an adult with a child is a good law, but a law against oral sex is a bit much don't you think? I think we need to use our own discretion
