I work for the family of Anthony Portello. Mr. Portello unfortunately passed away due to lung cancer caused by asbestos. I have been working with his children for some time now try to figure out where he may have been exposed during his career. His children do not know the specifics of what he did during his career or who he worked with.
Mr. Portello was an auto mechanic for Red Star Expressway from approximately 1952 until 1958. Before that he was also a mechanic with Defabio and Cato from 1944 until 1954. Both companies were located in Auburn, NY. If any of you remember working with him or at these companies during those years, I would love to speak to you.
