My dad had one. We called him bear. Three coyotes jumped him one evening. Two lay dead, and third ran off.

My carpenter dog is not mean, he just does odd jobs around the house.

Pyrenees are the most freindlyest dogs I have ever had. But very protective when a predator comes in... he goes into protective mode.
