so glad i left the industry, most miserable people ive ever known, two faced liars, backstabbers, adult babies, premadonnas, weak crowd

true, but the ones that replaced me are not really great people, felons and reformed pill poppers, not very pleasing to know their history

These lying pricks at YRC and the slimy union bosses who will get their pensions are asking you to continue a reduction in your pension and give you less than a $1 a year raise. Are you that weak that you can be bought for $4 ?

If they want to close let them close. There are a LOT of other jobs out there. We have the power, they are the ones that need drivers to pull the freight and unload and load it and answer the phones. These executives are making upper 6 figures. You have to struggle to make 70k a year. Dont let them steam roll you.

Send Ernie back and get that pension back to 100% funded and at least another 3 to 4 dollars an hour over the life of the contract. Inflation will eat your raise. $80 a barrel oil is on the horizon which means $3 plus gasoline this summer.

Self-centered financial greed drives 10 percent of the employees at my barn. It's all about me and most have no idea of the word Solidarity.

Bill Zollars and his spending spree and a timely recession got us into this mess.He is gone. At the end of the day if we start looking for shared sacrifices in our life for all the wrongs in our jobs the entire planet would be in misery.
I’m just glad our veterans aren’t talking about shared sacrifice.
It had little to do whit the down turn other company’s made it just fine it was yellow management from the top Although Mr. Zollars insisted that, for now, Roadway and Yellow sales forces would continue to bid against each other for customers, he did not insist that practice would continue forever. Wtf Take money from one pocket loose some put it in the other no wonder we're bankrupt and we still do it to holland https://www.nytimes.com/2003/07/09/business/no-2-in-trucking-yellow-will-buy-no-1-roadway.html

Are you for real? If you took out a mortgage to buy an expensive home before the downturn and then made less money because of the downturn, how would you be able to continue paying off your big mortgage with less income? That's the same situation that occurred with YRC. It's old news and past history, time to look ahead don't you think?
