Just an observation....... We have a Constitutional right to freedom of Religion..
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"...
With that in mind, it would be a clear violation of the Constitution to ban the Muslim religion.....ar any religion, for that matter....so how could a ban be legal without altering the first ammendment?..... Also wouldn't a ban on one religion open a ban on all religions?... The reason I ask is that throughout history there has been Religious influence in political affairs....so it could conceivably be that the Government could just ban them all so as to prevent futher meddling in politics......
It may seem so agreeable to ban a religion you don't like....but realize there may be unintended consequences...
Islam is not a religion IMO.It is more like a political movement. They believe GOD calls them to impose Sharia law forcefully throughout the world. No different than ಠ▄ಠ trying to impose his will on the world.
Furthermore Sharia law violates our constitution , also they are NOT tolerant of other religions which goes against the very fabric of our country and constitution .
Let's define religion, can one call himself the prophet of the children and have a doctrine stating that in order for the child to have absolute certainty of reaching heaven that they must start having sez with an elder at the age of five.Would we tolerate that nonsense ?
How bout one that sacrifices animals or cuts off the heads of women at age 70 ?
Sounds bizarre ... Like Islam.
