Those were the days making noise, blowing coal & country music, real living IMHO. Was that Tri in the ditch on a perfectly dry road with nothing around looking back at where he just came from?

Got to drive an Emeryville at UPS in the early 1970's. Glad I had the chance to be able to say I did.
PS - Also got to occasionally drive an old time "cage car", basically a big box with a Ward 6cyl gas engine. Used to go on to the elevator at Bamberger's in Newark (NJ version of Macy's back in the day) to get to the basement loading area. Loaded "cages" of retail which UPS handled at the time.

Lazy J was the first thing that came to my mind when Emeryville was mentioned.
Lazy J's ran the centerport manifold, didn't have the good, backport sound like the Huber and Huber outfit from Tenn.

That’s sweet. I’ve always liked the Emeryville’s. My Dad drove one for United Grocers. He’d take me in it when I was just a little kid.
