Question.

In Columbus, OHIO . I'm seeking full time driver employment with Holland.

But on there application u have to have. One year experience in the last 5 recent years. I have drivers experience but not recent.

So i was wondering if i get my foot in the door. By working the 20 hour week casual dock, do they have some type of refresher course i can take.

Or send me somewhere for a refresher course that will make me qualified to there standards?

Any info would be appreciated..

After the 2008 economy crashed I was in the same situation as you. So I went to a truck driving school and paid $400 for a refresher course. It's just a certificate to satisfy insurance companies and consisted of driving around town with an instructor for 2 hours. Not sure if Holland will accept a certificate but you can email Samanatha Engle in Holland H.R. and ask <[email protected]>
