There is a problem. What is not necessary? The Air Force has a handful of C-130 aircraft at bases in Youngstown, Columbus, Dayton, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Which community believes their base and their jobs are unnecessary?

It should be a matter of military necessity, not whose congressman shouts loud enough, makes back room deals and gives or takes graft to make it so. Also, where did I say anything specific to military cuts? There are a lot of things that need to be trimmed before we even begin to look at the military. Last I checked, national defense is a specific term that the Constitution calls for the federal government to fund. They spend tons on things they have no business with according to the Constitution.

I take it you’re a road driver or a dock worker by the time of your post, but being a city driver this is common practice to have other carriers names on the freight your picking up….All about the price that day. BTW thanks for the sales lead…lol

Actually, Tforce has a 5 year agreement with UPS to handle computers and paperwork, that’s why their name is still on the bill of lading.

Did anything in my comments even remotely suggest that I’m in favor of Kamala Harris as President? Absolutely not. I’m voting for Trump but don’t expect me to be happy about it. So…..you are saying that if T-Force were to buy ABF as you are predicting, then they would likely still use the “ABF” name on their paperwork for five years? I guess that would be one way to make the customer think that they were still dealing with a reputable carrier like UPS or ABF.

As it had been done for years
More than $30 BILLION of taxpayer money to fund pensions that were already paid for is criminal.
I am consistent, I detest corporate welfare, this is no different.
The failure of the teamsters is why the pension needed a taxpayer bailout. They did not organize a single carrier into the NMFA in more than 40 years?????
Taxpayers should not be on the hook because the union mismanaged the pensions

Yes, you are correct, but he has now changed it from a single LTL carrier to now NMFA, because he knows there was UPS Freight....and he has said in other posts that unions are outdated...
