There is a problem. What is not necessary? The Air Force has a handful of C-130 aircraft at bases in Youngstown, Columbus, Dayton, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Which community believes their base and their jobs are unnecessary?I guess you missed the part where I said I’m voting for him, just don’t expect me to be happy about it. America can be fixed. It’s going to be painful and we need leaders who are willing to cut through the bullshit and level with folks and ignore the idiots who scream about social issues the government has no business being involved with. Stop spending money on anything that is not necessary and do everything possible to stimulate growth in the economy. That’s how it gets fixed.
It should be a matter of military necessity, not whose congressman shouts loud enough, makes back room deals and gives or takes graft to make it so. Also, where did I say anything specific to military cuts? There are a lot of things that need to be trimmed before we even begin to look at the military. Last I checked, national defense is a specific term that the Constitution calls for the federal government to fund. They spend tons on things they have no business with according to the Constitution. There is a problem. What is not necessary? I take it you’re a road driver or a dock worker by the time of your post, but being a city driver this is common practice to have other carriers names on the freight your picking up….All about the price that day. BTW thanks for the sales lead…lol….that was UPS freight, to prop up Small pack, by stealing FedEx customers with 90% discounts.
We’ve been through this a million times, get it straight already….
Actually, Tforce has a 5 year agreement with UPS to handle computers and paperwork, that’s why their name is still on the bill of lading.
It's actually a compliment on how thoughtful his posts normally are.And I assume that last sentence of your response would not be considered “condescending”?
I'll admit I do miss not having a few brand new endless wars...Did anything in my comments even remotely suggest that I’m in favor of Kamala Harris as President? Absolutely not. I’m voting for Trump but don’t expect me to be happy about it. I don’t find anything he says to be “refreshing”, I find the man repulsive and morally reprehensible. Your comments prove my point, there is a section of the population who believe he can heal the sick and walk on water if so moved, and God save anyone who has anything critical to say about him.

I simply find it odd that you call somebody out for supposedly being “condescending“ by being condescending in return. It's actually a compliment on how thoughtful his posts normally are.
Try to keep up...
So…..you are saying that if T-Force were to buy ABF as you are predicting, then they would likely still use the “ABF” name on their paperwork for five years? I guess that would be one way to make the customer think that they were still dealing with a reputable carrier like UPS or ABF.Actually, Tforce has a 5 year agreement with UPS to handle computers and paperwork, that’s why their name is still on the bill of lading.
I never thought I'd live to see this, Powder Puff making 3 posts and not mentioningSuch as bailing out pension funds with taxpayers $$$
That is very rich coming from you...you and the member who gave you a like, both say things about the bailout, but he still accepts his pension....and since you have never said differently you accept the pension you claim that you get.....before you tell me you "earned it" since it is welfare in your mind, how exactly do you earn welfare?Such as bailing out pension funds with taxpayers $$$
My pension was paid for by my employer/employers.That is very rich coming from you...you and the member who gave you a like, both say things about the bailout, but he still accepts his pension....and since you have never said differently you accept the pension you claim that you get.....before you tell me you "earned it" since it is welfare in your mind, how exactly do you earn welfare?
So your money is there, but not everyone else's huh? Since you detest it and it is wrong(according to you), a man with your high morals would refuse it.....lol...yeah right....My pension was paid for by my employer/employers.
As it had been done for years
More than $30 BILLION of taxpayer money to fund pensions that were already paid for is criminal.
I am consistent, I detest corporate welfare, this is no different.
The failure of the teamsters is why the pension needed a taxpayer bailout. They did not organize a single carrier into the NMFA in more than 40 years?????
Taxpayers should not be on the hook because the union mismanaged the pensions
So was mine. So why should I not get what was paid for on my behalf but you feel like you should get what was paid for on your behalf? My pension was paid for by my employer/employers.

Bless your heart, so glad you remembered to mention the union in your post.My pension was paid for by my employer/employers.

This is what he said just to be accurate: "They did not organize a single carrier into the NMFA in more than 40 years?????"He complains unions are outdated then complains unions havn't organized anyone in 40 years,
Yes, you are correct, but he has now changed it from a single LTL carrier to now NMFA, because he knows there was UPS Freight....and he has said in other posts that unions are outdated...This is what he said just to be accurate: "They did not organize a single carrier into the NMFA in more than 40 years?????"
That's quite different from what you claimed he said.
