Fact! The "Bonus" Issue was addressed in this contract! There was nothing in the MOU (Pls correct me if i'm wrong) that would have let the Union stop it in the past.
Fact! The Union walked out several times over issues the Company wanted,
1. $80 a week co-pay to the H&W funds. It went from that down to $20 and finally $5 a week but the Union said were not opening that can of worms! The Union was ready to strike over this issue
2. Overtime after 40 hours a week, Not 8 hours a day!
3. Chicken :::shit::: 40-50 cent raises
This contract is going to cost this Company over a BILLION DOLLARS over it's lifetime, Not bad for a Company still a BILLION or so in debt.
Hype? Are you kidding me? Chew on these facts for a while!
Oh and by the way, Hoffa is still a useless P.O.S. in my book, And I don't see TDU raising holy hell about anything right now, Just reporting.

That’s what they said last time & threw it in our face, yes they did something with regard to that , however, still the point of neither can be trusted in what they say
Vote for it with that thought, but don’t try an sway others since we’ve seen what occurred last time & I’m not convinced & want a repeat
It’s been far too long since we’ve been united & stand together
& seems like you’re pushing that we still don’t & remain divided

There is a reason why they are not paying down the debt when they have to renegotiate the loan in 2022 they are going to say we need concessions for the banks to approve the loan we will never see the full raises in this new contract?
 
Any member who basis his/Her vote on ::shit:: house rumor or "This is what I heard" deserves what they get.
But I can respect anyone who votes based on what they believe is true AFTER getting all the facts!

No I stated I believe what the Union is saying. This comes from several sorces, Not just my B.A. or the Freight division.
After looking at the numbers (Company quaterly SEC reports, If their lieing to the Feds it's on them) and such The one thing I do believe is that there is No more money to be had at this time.
Again, Trust? Hell No! Let the FACTS guide you.

Dude,they have been paying down the debt.
Over 300 million of it and around a billion of interest to boot.

It wouldn’t matter if the debt was 100% paid off.
Your type would find another reason to vote no.

These are all retirees that need your money. Without a Yrc yes vote there pension is also gone. Guys just want to bury this thread and ramble on about other issues. This thread was dead on arrival but it should have stayed on top. Is there any wonder why the LTL industry is predominantly non-union. When the Teamsters leaders want to cram ::shit:: down your throats with fear tactics. I thought the union was here to protect you. Ernie is a worthless POS. This whole vote is now tainted and the outcome is inevitable. Just like it was when Ernie said what he did with ABF. What a sell out. If I have to explain it to you then you would never understand. Ernie’s statement has impact. Sure, you could still vote it down but when your leaders can’t stand behind you then you don’t stand a chance. He should have stood with you. Not against you.
 
Either vote yes or go bankrupt. That’s ridiculous. What kind of attitude is that from your leaders? Just fear mongering to scare the members into voting yes. And the majority will. It’s inevitable.

I don’t need any explanation from you for anything. You chose the be represented by a third party. You gave that third party your expectations for what you wanted in this work agreement. You chose to ignore the facts about the financial viability of the company that, btw signs your checks, when they are public record. They negotiated on YOUR behalf and in explaining the situation, gave you what we’re to them and others, the fact of the matter. If they treated you so bad, start the campaign to decertify.

You might as well decertify for all they have done for you in the last few years. You’re not hired “at will” but beyond that you’re better off non-union.
